Value Management
We offer Institute of Value Management approved courses
leading to the qualification of Professional of Value Management (PVM) which is
a Europe wide recognised qualification for Value Managers. The Value Management courses we offer are:
- A Value Management Foundation course - awareness session
introducing tools and techniques together with their application. Now also offered
as an
eLearning package.
- The Advanced 1 course - hands on experience in applying
value management tools and techniques together with facilitation skills and the
preparation of value management studies.
- Combined eLearning/Advanced 1 course - element of eLearning with traditional tuition and case study
work.
- The Advanced 2 course - emphasis on setting up strategic
value programmes. This
course can also be taken by SAVE International CVS professionals wanting a European
PVM qualification. For more information please see the SAVE/EGB Collaborative
Agreement.
- Value Management for Project Managers eLearning course - introducing VM tools and
techniques specifically tailored to Project Managers, including non-workshop applications
as well as linking Risk and Value Management.
All of the above courses involve hands on case study work with a number of case
studies being available depending on client requirements. Case study areas covered
include construction, manufacturing, Local Auhority and Local Government specific
projects. Within these case studies value management aspects ranging from strategy
through to project delivery will be covered as part of the programme of courses.
Asset Management
We are also pleased to offer a Strategic Asset Management Foundation
course introducing the concepts of Asset Management, asset strategies and asset
planning including the associated tools and techniques for carrying out Strategic
Asset Management. The course runs over a period of three days and includes extensive
hands-on case study work applying the theory and tools.
The course provides an overview to the nature
of Asset Management for infrastructure and property including its relevance to the
management of asset projects as well as providing an understanding of alternative
asset management strategies.

Value
Management is an integral part of the Foundation Course in Asset Management.
As such delegates are given the opportunity to take the elective Value Management eLearning package prior to attending the course at no additional cost. On
completion of the course and eLearning package delegates will be awarded a Value Solutions Foundation Course in Asset Management
certificate, as well as a Foundation
Course in Value Management certificate accredited
by the Institute of Value Management (this is recognised across Europe and is the first
step towards achieving the qualification of Professional in Value Management - PVM).

Sustainable Development
Sustainable development looks at the relationship between people, communities and economies
with the environment. It is concerned with promoting the protection of the environment
and creating wealth. Sustainable development ensures that current needs can be met
without creating a negative impact on future generations and their ability to meet
their own needs

Advanced Value Management courses have a minimum requirement of 4 delegates, as
stipulated by the Institute of Value Management, and will not go ahead without meeting
